It’s been that way since 1972, when founder Jim Reid left a 15-year career with DuPont to start a home building business with a simple philosophy: Do it right.

Since then, the Reid family has earned the respect of the industry and the loyalty and gratitude of homeowners, many of whom have returned after their first experience to buy a second and third Reid home. Subcontractors and suppliers have been with Reid Homes for years; the majority since the very beginning.  The company’s detailing and estimating system served as an industry innovation. Our compuerized bookkeeping and on-site construction techniques remain a model for others.
